Larry Coley Glover, Sr., 73, of Phenix City, AL died at Piedmont Columbus Regional - Midtown, Columbus, GA on Sunday, January 25, 2026.
A Memorial Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM (EST) on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL.
Mr. Glover was born October 30, 1952, in Fayetteville, NC, son of the late Albert David Glover and Alice Inez Coley Glover. He was the owner of LG Fire and Sprinkler for many years. Mr. Glover also attended The Way Church with his wife and family.
Mr. Glover was an avid Alabama Football fan and loved to invite family and friends over to enjoy a delicious meal he had prepared for game day. He also loved to camp and often visited Camping World just to see what was there. In his spare time, he also enjoyed playing golf. However, the highlight of his life were the grandchildren!
Mr. Glover was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Alice Glover, a brother, Jerry Glover and a daughter, Carrie Glover.
Survivors include his wife, Tammy Ashcraft Glover, Phenix City, AL; two daughters, Hope Snead (Shane) and Ashley Simpkins (Beau); three sons, Ryan Glover (Kelli), Coley Glover (Heather) and Blake Glover (Jeffrey); one brother, Terry Glover (Carol); eight grandchildren, Aiden, Isaac, Bryce, Kelsie, Carter, Eli, Abel and Isla; several nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in his memory to, the Student Ministry at The Way Church in Smiths Station AL text-“Larry” to (334)384-4777 and a link will be sent to donate.
