Mrs. Lillie Snow Brooks

Mrs. Lillie Snow Brooks, 84, of Cataula, GA passed away Friday, August 18, 2023 at her home.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Monday, August 21, 2023 at Vance Brooks Funeral Home in Phenix City, AL with Rev. David Herring and Rev. Buddy Lamb officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 4:00 until 6:00 pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Brooks was born October 25, 1938 in Atlanta, GA, daughter of the late Charlie D. Snow, Sr. and Ruby Elizabeth Key Snow.  She retired after many years of service for AT&T.  Mrs. Brooks loved cooking, as well as, spending time with her family and her church family.  She was a former member of Christian Fellowship Church in Decatur, GA, McDonough First Assembly in McDonough, GA and a member of Schomburg Road Baptist Church in Columbus, GA.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Brooks; a sister, Mildred Parks; son-in-law, Charles Borg and a daughter-in-law, Wanda Scott.

She is survived by two daughters, Vicki Brittain and husband Bryant of Cataula, GA and Teresa Allen and husband Ray of Phenix City, AL; a son, Scotty Scott and wife Sandy of Fortson, GA; three sisters, Anne Tisinger of McDonough, GA, Frances Brigman of Atlanta, GA and Marty Wiggins of Jackson, GA; a brother, Charlie D. Snow, Jr. of Stockbridge, GA; grandchildren, Ryan Scott (Brooke), Brandon Borg, Michael Martinez, Levi Allen, Austin Graham and Peyton Graham; great-grandchildren, Carson, London, Ryatt, Tristan, Tyson, Tanner, Cody, Erica, Riley, Zaylen, Miles and Autumn; great-great-grandchild, Xyla and a baby sister on the way; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
