Linda Lou Newkirk, 76, of Phenix City, AL passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at her home.
Mrs. Newkirk was born October 17, 1940 in Elmira, NY daughter of the late Earl Fenton and Pauline Maine Fenton. She proudly served in the US Army, worked at Leshner Mills for many years and, other than her parents, was preceded in death by one brother.
She is survived by three children, Alicia Wurzer and husband Bill, Iris Corbett and husband Neil and Tyree Newkirk; six grandchildren, Victoria Wurzer, Megan Wurzer, A.J. Butts, Erica Oakes, Jessica Cardwell and Brittany Cardwell; several nieces and nephews and many other extended family and friends.
