Mrs. Lois T. Page

Mrs. Lois T. Page, 94, of Phenix City, AL passed away Monday, November 8, 2021 at the Columbus Hospice House in Columbus, GA.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm EST on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Vance Brooks Funeral Home in Phenix City, AL with Rev. Alan Griffith officiating.  Interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Page was born June 6, 1927, daughter of the late O. A. Thomas and Ethel Collins Thomas.  She worked at Woodland Christian School, when it first opened and finished her career as a Clerk in the Russell County Probate Judge’s office.  Early in her life, she enjoyed swimming and continued her love of reading up until recent years.  Above all, she loved spending time with her family.  Mrs. Page was a long time member of Woodland Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School and enjoyed visiting those that were shut in.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Page, Jr., and two sisters, Lucille Freeman and Ethel Reeder.

She is survived by three children, Steve Page and wife Lynn of Ft. Mitchell, AL, Cindy Anthony of Ball Ground, GA and Cathy Mathews and husband Bobby of Hatchechubbee, AL; six grandchildren, Kelli Hughes (Todd), John Anthony, Clint Groce (Wendy), Kyle Page (Jennifer), Casey Groce (Amanda) and Jenna Lee (Keith); great-grandchildren, Claire Hughes, Hart Hughes, Amelia Anthony, Caroline Anthony, John Hayes Anthony, Cora Anthony, Emma Groce, Nolan Groce, JaneParker Groce, Cason Page, Henry Groce, Annabel Groce, George Groce and Ava Lee; other extended family and friends.
