Lula Mae Hacker Peters, 90, of Phenix City, AL died peacefully on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 while at The Landings in Columbus, GA with her son by her side.
Private Services were held in Lakeview Memory Gardens according to Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL.
Mrs. Peters was born January 13, 1935, in Braxton County, WV daughter of the late Arley Ore Hacker and Beulah Booth Hacker. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Peters worshiped with her late husband, Earl Peters, at Bush Road Emmanuel Holliness Church, Phenix City, AL. They also enjoyed camping and fishing together.
We will remember her for her strong faith in Christ and living it out daily before us. She loved her family, and they were her world. Thank you for being consistent and loving us unconditionally.
Mrs. Peters was preceded in death by her parents, Arley and Beulah Hacker; her husband, of 68 years, Earl J. Peters; a son, Jackie L. Stinson and a grandson, Timmy Shaw.
Survivors include her son, Robert Earl Peters (Mary) Phenix City, AL; sister, Carolyn “Skinny” Patrick; grandson, Chad Robert Peters; one great-granddaughter, Ashtyn Cobb; daughter-in-law, Karen Stinson; several other family members.
