Margaret Ann Williams

Margaret Ann Williams, 78, of Smiths Station, Alabama, passed away peacefully at her home on April 27, 2026, surrounded by family. A memorial service will be held at Calvary Tabernacle Church in Smiths Station, AL on May 23, 2026, at 12:00 pm EST.

Margaret Williams was born on April 9, 1948, in Opp, Alabama, to the late Quitman Eugene Richardson and Dora Bell McKay Richardson. Margaret worked as a server and bartender, retiring after managing Little Ceasars for years. She married the love of her life, Jimmie Williams, in 1984, recently celebrating 42 years of cherished memories as his loving and devoted wife. Margaret loved her family deeply and took every opportunity to spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Most recently, she enjoyed going to the casino and playing poker, playing bingo, and shopping. She traveled often to visit her sisters, went to Mexico, and loved going on cruises. Margaret was a great cook and faithful member of Calvary Tabernacle Church. She will be deeply missed by the many who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, Margaret is preceded in death by her children, Angela Cobb, John Walls, and Chris Walls. She is survived by her husband, Jimmie Williams; daughters, Margaret Bryan, and Stacie Hennessee and husband Wayne; sisters, Brenda Clark and Jeannette Franklin; brother, Pete Richardson and wife Donna; grandchildren, Ashley Ruggles, Christopher Hennessee, Katie Hunt, Tyler Hunt, Roselyn Husdon (Logan), Kandace Thomas, Miranda Bolson, and Crystal Phillips; great-grandchildren, Adalynn Ruggles, Mason Morgan, Zoe Hudson, Kai Hudson, Cody Law, Savannah Kavanagh, McKenzie Bolson, Tristen & Acelyn, Luke Phillips, and Hunter Phillips; as well as numerous extended family members and friends.
