Margarita Jaime-Mendez

Margarita Jaime-Mendez, 71, of Savannah, GA passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at her residence. Graveside services will be held at Naguabo Cemetery in Naguabo, Puerto Rico on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 11:00 a.m.

Margarita was born on October 12, 1950 in Naguabo, Puerto Rico to the late Julio Jaime and Josefina Mendez. She was a Registered Nurse and worked most of her life in her husband’s clinic, Clinica Medica De La Paz.

Other than her parents, Margarita is preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband of 23 years, Mario De La Paz.

Survivors include her daughter Elizabeth Nieves of Savannah, GA; son Mario De La Paz, Jr. (Terlin) of Baltimore, Maryland; sister Aurelia Jaime of Naguabo, Puerto Rico; and grandchildren Orelvys, Jr., Yolymar, Mario Gabriel, Michael Jaden, and Draxton Walker.
