Marion Sellers

Marion Sellers, 94, of Phenix City, AL entered her heavenly home on November 20, 2024. A visitation will be held at Vance Brooks Funeral Home, 3738 Hwy 431 N, Phenix City, AL 36870 on Friday, November 22, 2024, at 1:00 pm followed by a funeral service at 2:00 pm. Services will conclude with a committal service at Lakeview Memory Gardens. 

Marion Sellers was born in Carrollton, GA to the late George and Annie Ruth Stamps on September 24, 1930. After graduating from Central High School, Marion became a teller at Phenix Girard Bank, eventually moving to bookkeeping and then management. Marion was a member of First United Methodist Church, attended church regularly, and had a strong relationship with God. She Loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and spent time with them as often as she could. One of her favorite things to do was make meals regularly for her children and grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoyed fitting puzzles, going fishing, and tending to her flowers. Marion would dress up and loved to be fashionable when she went out. Marion will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.

Marion Sellers is preceded in death by her husband, Alton Sellers; parents, George and Annie Ruth Stamps; and siblings, Julian Stamps, Dale Stamps, and Carol Grohman. 

Marion Sellers is survived by her children, Susan Hartman (Lance) of Phenix City, AL, and Alan Ray of Phenix City, AL; grandchildren, Lisa Trammell (Steve) of Phenix City, AL, Bryan Hartman (Amanda) of Phenix City, AL; and great-grandchildren, Cole Trammell, Lilli Trammell, Maddi Hartman, Kylie Hartman, and Reese Hartman.
