Mary E. Baker Faulk, 90, of Phenix City, AL died peacefully while at Parkview Nursing Home, Phenix City, AL on Wednesday, November 12, 2025.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM (EST) on Monday, November 17, 2025, in the Chapel of Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL with Rev. Dewayne Dean officiating. Interment will be held in Evergreen Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery, Ariton, AL. The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM until the service hour on Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Faulk was born August 27, 1935, in Dale County, AL daughter of the late E. F. Baker and Lillie Barr Baker. She had retired from Fieldcrest Mills several years of committed service as a supervisor. Mrs. Faulk attended Unity Baptist Church where she enjoyed worship with family and friends. She also enjoyed quilting with her sister creating beautiful heirlooms for her family. Mrs. Faulk was also a determined lady who only finished the sixth grade, but later in her fifties completed her GED. She always made sure her family was well provided for and never lacked anything.
Mrs. Faulk was preceded in death by her parents E.F. and Lillie Baker; her husband, Claudie Faulk; siblings, Alma Senn, Kenneth Baker, Clyde Baker and Johnny Baker; a grandson, Joseph Faulk.
Survivors include her four children, Brenda Whidden (Chris), Eufaula, AL, Tammy Floyd (Marty), Beulah, AL, Edward Faulk (Becky), Salem, AL and Danny Faulk (Teresa, Crawford, AL; fourteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and friends.
