Matthew Andre Lecomte

Matthew Andre LeComte, 54, of Phenix City, AL, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 24, 2014 at his home. A gathering for family and friends will be held from 5:00 until 6:30pm EST on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 with a service beginning at 6:30 that evening at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home 4048 Macon Road Columbus, GA. Matt was born in Columbus, Georgia to Mary LeComte Fritz and the late Robert F. LeComte, Sr. Matt was self-employed for several years and later worked for Chattahoochee Window Works. He loved the outdoors, spending time on the family farm, was a deer hunter extraordinaire and an Alabama football fanatic. Survivors include his children, Ryan LeComte and wife April, Melissa Posey, Kyndall LeComte and Hunter Blaine LeComte; granddaughter, Peyton Brooke LeComte; mother, Mary Fritz; brothers, Robert F. LeComte, Jr., Wade A. LeComte, Lewis, D. LeComte, Bart C. LeComte and Bret L. LeComte; numerous nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.
