Michael Mazohn White

Michael Mazohn White, 71, of Smiths Station, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2025, in his home surrounded by family. Services will be announced at a later date.

Michael White was born on August 4, 1954, in New Mexico to Betty Jo White and the late Bert Mazhon White. At an early age, Michael married the love of his life, Colette White, and remained her devoted and loving husband for 52 years. He then served 4 years in the Air Force before completing his associates degree and becoming an Electrical Engineer. In his free time, he enjoyed being outdoors. He was frequently fishing, boating, practicing archery, and off-roading. He could often be seen wearing his beloved flannel (never shorts!) and line-dancing or enjoying a ride on his motorcycle. Michael was very creative and a collector of many things, especially knowledge. Michael knew the power of wisdom and loved to share that knowledge with those who would listen. He enjoyed holidays and celebrations with family and friends. Michael was a jokster and loved a good laugh. He loved his family more than anything and was an incredible husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was a special man who will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.

Michael White is preceded in death by his father, Bert Mazohn White. He is survived by his beloved wife, Colette White; mother, Betty Jo White; daughter, Melissa Jo Walden (Eric); son, Sean White (Elizabeth); sister, Cindy Sue Makela (Craig); and grandchildren, Logan Joseph Walden, Parker Bryan Walden, Allison Mazohn White, and Emily Elizabeth White.
