Mildred H. Mitchell, 96, of Cataula, GA died Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at Arabella Nursing Home in Phenix City, AL.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, January 12, 2023 at Rehobeth/The Rock Cemetery in Cataula, GA with Pastor Alan Griffin officiating, according to Vance Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Road, Columbus, GA.
Mrs. Mitchell was born October 3, 1926 in Arlington, GA to the late William Hewett and Minnie Mae Simpson Hewett. She was a spinner at Bibb Mill.
She is survived by a daughter, Betty Kimbrough of Cataula, sons, James Robert Mitchell and Billy Mitchell (Teresa) of Smiths Station, AL, sisters, Annette Harper and Pearl Barnett, brother, Benny Hewett, sisters-in-law, Linda Hewett and Violet Hewett, grandchildren, Tony Mitchell and Jamie Mitchell, great grandchildren, McKenzie Mitchell and Skylar Mitchell, and several nieces and nephews.
