Mrs. Zillie Lavonne Tindall Patrick

Mrs. Zillie Lavonne Tindall Patrick, 82, formerly of Columbus, GA passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at her daughter’s home in Midway, GA.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 am EST Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Second Baptist Church in Columbus, GA, with Rev. Tommy Fountain officiating. A private interment will follow at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday night from 5:00 until 7:00 pm EST at Vance Brooks Funeral Home in Columbus, GA.

Mrs. Patrick was born on December 30, 1940 in Madison, FL, daughter of the late George Broward Tindall and Emmie Lois Sevor Tindall. She spent the majority of her career taking care of her family. Mrs. Patrick enjoyed being in the kitchen, both cooking and baking, as well as being a seamstress. Her true passions were her family and her church. Mrs. Patrick was a long time member of Second Baptist Church in Columbus, GA.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, James A. Patrick; a sister, Floyce Green; and a brother, Percy Tindall.

Her survivors include a daughter, Heather Smith and husband Matt of Midway, GA; two sons, Bruce Patrick and wife Melanie of Wetumpka, AL and Heath Patrick and wife Tracee of Columbus, GA; four sisters, Martha Hobbs and husband W. A. of Columbus, GA, Linda Tindall of Eufaula, AL, Barbara Vinning of Smiths Station, AL and Wanda Noyes of Columbus, GA; a brother, Edwin Tindall and wife Deborah of Cataula, GA; grandchildren, Andrew Patrick (Jenn), Michael Patrick (Sharon), Daniel Patrick, Katie Coulter (David), Emily Patrick, Tindall Cowan (Sean), Meadow Smith, Grayson Espino (Josue), Ashlee Patrick and Keegan Patrick; three great-grandchildren, Rebecca Patrick, Samuel Patrick and Corey Patrick; several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
