Patricia Moss “Honey” Daniels, 84, of Columbus, GA passed away on Friday, April 25, 2025 at Magnolia Manor Assisted Living. Patricia was born on August 8, 1940 in Dothan, AL to the late Lewis Jackson Moss and Mary Ruth Watkins Moss. She was employed in the banking industry from 1958-2003. After 45 years, Patricia retired from Synovus/ TSYS as a Fraud Analyst. A devout Christian, Patricia truly embodied the spirit of servanthood. She spent much of her spare time at Kirkland Baptist Church and absolutely loved her church family of over thirty years. Patricia was gifted in many areas, one of which was baking. She was well known for her famous poundcakes, which brought a big smile to everyone’s face. She also loved music and was an accomplished instrumentalist. She faithfully played the piano and Clavinova for services, expressing her love for the Lord through her God-given talents.

Family always played an important part in Patricia’s life. She dearly loved her children and her grandbabies, and her children and grandbabies dearly loved their “Honey”. She was also very close to her younger sister Dianne and often referred to her as “her first baby”. Patricia had a heart of gold and selflessly lived her life to be the best wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend she could possibly be. Without a doubt, she has left a legacy for others to follow. “Honey” will be greatly missed but forever cherished in the hearts of those who knew her and loved her.

In addition to her parents, Patricia is preceded in death by her brother Ronald E. Moss. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 39 years Tommy Glenn Daniels; daughters Melissa Wright (James) of Hamilton, GA and Lisa K. Smith (Wayne) of Columbus, GA; stepdaughter Lori G. Clark of Columbus, GA; sons Michael D. Childree (Karla) of Phenix City, AL and Timothy A. Childree (Catherine) of Columbus, GA; stepson James M. Daniels of Columbus, GA; sister Dianne Galos of Dothan, AL; and grandchildren Conner Moore, Trey Childree, Dillon Smith, Travis Tucker, Ashley Clark Rodriguez, Maxwell Daniels, Casey Rose, Trevor Wright, Kristen Wright, Nathan Wright, Naia Izumi, Duane Clay and Tony Clay.
