Patricia House Luker

Patricia D. House Luker, 70, of Phenix City, AL died at St. Francis Hospital on Wednesday, May 14, 2025.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM (EST) on Monday, May 19, 2025 in the Chapel of Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL with Minister David Spiece officiating. A private interment will follow in Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:00AM until the funeral hour on Monday at the funeral home.

Ms. Luker was born June 14, 1954 in Columbus, GA daughter of the late Morris House Sr. and Myrtle Moore House. She was a Nurse Anesthetist who had retired from the old Cobb Hospital, Phenix City, AL. She also worked at hospitals in Valley, AL and Columbus, GA. Ms. Luker enjoyed spending time with family, charity work and fundraising, sewing and machine embroidery, crafting, horses and talking about Jesus. She loved storytelling and would often add embellishments to her stories when socializing with others.

Ms. Luker was preceded in death by her parents, Morris and Myrtle House; a son, Paul Ellis and a sister, Sandra Rives.

Survivors include her two daughters, Tamara Ellis (Larry), Houston, TX and Jeralyn Knight (James), Birmingham, AL; two sisters, Donna Oakes, Smiths Station, AL and Verna Benezue, Moss Point, MS and one brother, Morris House, Jr (Tina), Columbus, GA; three grandchildren, Timothy Knight, Justin Ellis and Summer Coon (Natalie Amaryllis) ; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
