Patricia Lee (McGrath) Osip, 83, of Williamsburg, Virginia and Hadley, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2026. She was born in 1942 in Northampton, Massachusetts.

Patricia devoted her life to caring for others, both professionally and within her community. She graduated from Northampton High School. She went on to earn her nursing degree from the Greenfield Community College of Nursing and the Nursing Program at Cooley Dickinson Hospital. She served as an ICU nurse at Cooley Dickinson Hospital, where her compassion, skill, and steady presence brought comfort to countless patients and families. She continued her calling serving concurrently for 25 years as the Hadley Public Health Nurse, providing dedicated care to some of the town’s most vulnerable residents.

Beyond her professional life, Patricia was deeply committed to her community. She served as a member of the Hadley School Committee, contributed her time as a Girl Scout Leader, and coached in the Hadley Lassie League Softball program where she also served as the League president. She was also a proud member and a local leader of the Red Hat Society leading her Red Hat Ladybugs. She co-directed Hadley People Interested in the Arts (HIPA), reflecting her passion for community connection and the arts.

Patricia is survived by her children, Lynn Lacombe, Lauri Osip, and Joseph (Jody) Osip.

She was a loving grandmother to six grandchildren and a proud great-grandmother to eight great-grandchildren. Her family was the center of her life, and she will be remembered for her warmth, strength, and unwavering devotion to those she loved.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to your local hospice organization in Patricia’s memory.

She will be deeply missed and fully remembered by all who knew her.
