Randy Wayne Schell

Randy Wayne Schell. 69, passed away on April 3, 2026. He was born on August 1, 1956, in Macon, Georgia, to the late Lewis C. Schell and Mildred S. Jessup.

Randy was a Specialist in the US Army and a Vietnam veteran. After he left the army, he lived in Columbus, Georgia. Randy married Patricia Brock, later becoming a widower in 2016. He had a passion for life and a strong love for his family and friends. He loved animals, music, and supporting the Braves. In his free time, he also enjoyed playing video games and watching Star Wars. He will be forever cherished by those who loved him and will be greatly missed.

Randy is survived by his sister, Dorothy Sims; sister-in-law, Pam King and husband David; step-children, Shannon Crowe and husband Danny, and Christine Fanning; step-grandchildren who called him “Randaddy”, Caleb, Autumn, Tyler Crowe, and Savannah Wortman.

The family expressed a special thank you to the aides and nurses at Orchard View for their compassionate care, as well as Columbus Hospice.
