Rebecca Elaine Money

Rebecca Elaine Money, 65, of Fortson, Georgia, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at her residence in Fortson, Georgia.

Funeral Services will be held 12:00 P.M, Friday, September 9, 2022 at Vance Brooks Funeral Home 4048 Macon Road Columbus, GA with Reverend Dewayne Dean officiating. The interment will follow at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 11:00 A.M until 12:00 P.M at the Funeral Home.

Rebecca was born on September 23, 1956, in Columbus, Georgia, the daughter of Dewey McIntosh and Lonie Bell Barnes McIntosh. She was a wonderful homemaker and stay at home mom. She enjoyed spending time and traveling with her family. She dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren. Rebecca was loved by all those who knew her and will be truly missed.

She is preceded in death by father, Dewey McIntosh; mother, Lonie Bell McIntosh; son, Steve Money; brother, Bobby McIntosh; four sisters, Joyce Ogburn, Doris McKinnon, June Jackson, and Janice Bailey.

She is survived by two daughters, Tonya (Thomas) Fuller and Alyssa Money; son, Scott Money; brother, Leonard (Ruby) McIntosh; three granddaughters, Brooke Money, Julia Money, and Erinn Fuller; three grandsons, Damian Money, Trey Money, and Blake Fuller; as well as several extended family members and caring friends.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made in Rebecca’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
