Rebecca Joyce Lowe

Rebecca Joyce Lowe,71, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Piedmont Midtown Medical.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 25, 2019 at 1 p.m. at Vance Brooks Funeral Home (Phenix City) with procession at 1:30 to Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery for a 2 p.m. committal. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6-8 at the funeral home.  

Mrs. Lowe was born October 29, 1947 in Dothan, AL. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the American Legion and a member of Liberty Baptist Church and attended Cascade Hills. MeeMaw loved fishing, the beach, traveling and her grandkids.  

She was preceded in death by her husband John R. Lowe and her parents, Royce Bell and Betty O’Brien and her daughter Glenda Dale Loveless.

She is survived by her stepdad, George W. O’Brien; daughters, Denece O’Neal(Andy), Kimberly Young(Randy) and DeeDee Simpson(Garry); grandchildren, Jay, Adam, BJ, Paul, Justin, Rebecca Felisha, Georgia and Colby; 9 great-grandchildren; cousins, Joe Carden, Jean McBride and Sharon Treadway-Smith; many other family members.
