Regina Faye Melton Densel, 66, of Salem, AL died at her home on Monday, March 09, 2026.
A Service of Remembrance will be held at 11:00 AM (EST) on Friday, March 13, 2026, at Word of Faith Church with Pastor Earl King officiating according to Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL. A private interment will be at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday at the church from 10:00 AM until the funeral hour.
Mrs. Densel was born April 15, 1959, in Ft. Benning, GA daughter of the late Shirley Stringfellow. She was a homemaker and a great mother and grandmother. Mrs. Densel was a former member of the Golden Acres Assembly of God and attended Word of Faith Church. She was an avid Alabama Football Fan who loved to host family events where she cooked for everyone.
We will remember her as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She has left so many great memories for us to remember her by, thank you so much.
Mrs. Densel was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Stringfellow; husband, Kenneth Wade Densel; a brother, Donald Wade and sister, Connie Wade; her grandparents, George and Violet Stringfellow.
Survivors include her two daughters, Brenda Dockery (Scott), Salem, AL and Crystal Broadwater (Wayne), Opelika, AL; sister, Gloria Sheffield; two precious grandchildren, Dustin Morrison and Kaitlynn Dockery; brother-in-law, Billy Joe Densel and aunt, Nina Jo Girrard; several nieces, nephews and friends.
