Reney Neil Mizell

Reney Neil Mizell, 68, of Columbus, GA passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2022 at Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown. A graveside service will be held at Evergreen Memory Gardens, 4500 St Marys Rd, Columbus, GA, on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 beginning at 2:00 PM. The family will receive friends at the cemetery from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm, two hours prior to the service.

Reney was born on December 28, 1953 in Miami, FL to the late Curtis Arthel “Archie” Mizell and Murlene “Murt” Spearman Mizell. He was the owner of Evergreen Memory Gardens in Columbus, GA and Cooper Ridge Memory Garden in Blue Ridge, GA. Reney enjoyed boating, driving, and keeping cars clean. He was also a fan of NASCAR, Tina Turner, Star Trek, and Elvis Presley.

Other than his parents, Reney is preceded in death by his son Jeremy Mizell. Survivors include his son Dakoda Mizell of Americus, GA; sisters Cynthia Daniels (Wayne) of Chattanooga, TN and Renee Hutchins (Jeff) of Ringgold, GA; niece Savannah Hutchins; faithful Office Manager Lisa Covington; and dear friend of 10 years Clarisse C. Leonard.
