Rita Lou Mccluskey

Rita Lou McCluskey, 75, of Phenix City, AL passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2023 at her home.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM (EST) on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 in the Chapel of Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL with Pastor Don Abrams officiating.  A private interment will follow in Lakeview Memory Gardens. A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the funeral hour at the funeral home on Tuesday.

Ms. McCluskey was born September 3, 1947 in Columbus, GA daughter of the late William Thomas McCluskey and Effie Lou Melton McCluskey. She had retired after 35 committed years as an Intensive Care and Coronary Care nurse. Ms. McCluskey was also an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Phenix City, AL. She served on the Administrative Council and the Missions Board and was a faithful member since her childhood. Her dedication to her patients and Trinity United Methodist Church has touched numerous lives and she will be missed.

Other than her parents, William and Effie McCluskey, she was preceded in death by her sister, Deena McCluskey Clark and brother-in-law, Earnest Clark.

She is survived by her church family, extended family and friends.
