Samantha Joyce Stevens

Samantha Joyce Stevens, 46, of Phenix City, Al, passed away on November 28, 2025. A service will be held by the family on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at 1:00 pm EST, at Sanford Road Park.

Samantha was born on October 5, 1979, in Phenix City, Al, to Gloria Joyce Sprayberry. Samantha took pride in her appearance and enjoyed shopping and collecting shoes. She loved all animals, especially dolphins. In her free time, Samantha enjoyed going fishing, as long as she didn’t have to bait the hook, and going to the East Alabama Motor Speedway. She enjoyed cooking, and most of all, spending time with her granddaughter. Family was most important to Samantha, and she will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.

Samantha is preceded in death by her grandparents, Bill and Jeanette Linton. She is survived by her fiancé, Daniel Korporal; children, Zackery Calvert Hurt, Logan Brian Hurt, Brian Dean Hurt, Ashley Stevens, and Whitney Nicole Deblase; grandchildren, Kennedi Ruth Hurt, Zackery Waters, and Riley Stevens-Buffkin; honorary mother, Dana Sue Burrous; father of her children, Brian Dean Hurt, Sr.; and step-father, Frank Sturges.
