Sheila Pugh Hurst

Sheila Pugh Hurst, 74, of Columbus, GA passed away on Friday, September 9, 2022 at Piedmont Columbus Regional Hospital – Northside.

Sheila was born on September 23, 1947 in Columbus, GA to Roy W. Pugh and Myrtice Pittman Pugh. She was employed at Pope McGlamry law firm where she worked as a legal secretary.

Sheila is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Donald Pugh.

Survivors include daughter Tracy Hampton (Scotty) of West Point, GA; grandchildren Erich West, Elaine West, Thomas Hampton (Brandy), Matthew Hampton (Keira), and David Hampton (Tacara); great-grandchildren Ayden Hampton and Cayden Hampton; and cousins Melanie Sessions of Phenix City, AL and Shirley Cook.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Arrangements have been made through Vance Brooks Funeral Home in Columbus.
