Sidney B. Cline

Mr. Sidney Buford Cline, 82, formerly of Phenix City, AL passed away Friday, September 12, 2025 at the Four County Health and Rehabilitation Center in Richland, GA.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm EST Friday, September 19, 2025 at Vance Brooks Funeral Home in Phenix City, AL with Rev. Brad McDaniel officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at Parkhill Cemetery in Columbus, GA. The family will receive friends Friday afternoon from 1:00 until 2:00 pm, one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home.

Mr. Cline was born July 25, 1943 in Rich Creek, WV, son of the late Leonard Cline and Bessie Blevins Cline. He proudly served his country in the Georgia Army National Guard. Mr. Cline spent most of his career working in the textile industry at Bibb Manufacturing in Columbus, GA. He was a member of the VFW Post 135 and New Beginnings Church.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Willene Blizzard Cline; a sister, Kathern Cline and a brother, Deward Cline.

He is survived by his sister, Mary McPherson of WV; as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
