Ms. Tami Anne Jones

Tami Anne Jones, 62, of Columbus, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at Jack Huston Memorial Hospital in Phenix City, Alabama.

A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 PM EST on Saturday, December 3, 2022, in the Chapel of Vance Brooks Funeral Home, located at 3738 US Highway 431 North Phenix City, Alabama 36867. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Ms. Jones was born in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of the late Warren G. Thompson and Anne Schneider Thompson. Tami was a selfless individual who always puts others first. She was an amazing cook especially her spaghetti and cookies. She enjoyed watching the Cleveland Browns NFL football team. She was an amazing mother and grandmother who truly enjoyed spending time with her family. Her grandchildren nicknamed her “Grami Tami from Alabami!”

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Brittni Daniels (Jonathan) of Phenix City, AL; sons Jason Jones (Nichole) Columbus, GA and Jeremy Jones (Jennifer) of Phenix City, AL; brother Tom Thompson (Denise) of Pickerington, OH and grandchildren James Daniels, Hunter Jones, Kyra Jones, Henry Gilmore and Anne Marie Tompkins.
