Mr. Thomas “Tom” Burgett Richmond

Mr. Thomas “Tom” Burgett Richmond, II, 63, of Columbus, GA , passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at Piedmont Midtown Medical Center in Columbus, GA.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 am, Monday, September 20, 2021 at Lakeview Memory Gardens in Phenix City, AL.  Due to COVID 19 there will be no formal visitation.

Mr. Richmond was born on June 23, 1958, in Columbus, GA, the son of the late Gene Lafree Richmond, I and Ruth Giddings Richmond.  He retired from Georgia Power with over 20 years of service.  Mr. Richmond was a member of the Phenix City Shriners and also, a member of the Wilson Williams Masonic Lodge # 351.  He enjoyed being outside, hunting and fishing but above all, spending time with his family.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Madison Richmond

He is survived by his loving wife, Charlotte Parette Richmond of Columbus, GA; two sons, Gene Lafree Richmond, II of Phenix City, AL Bryan Anthony Richmond of Smiths Station, AL and ; a grandson, Nick Oswalt of Phenix City, AL;  a beloved cousin, Charles Edward Richmond, II; extended family and caring friends.
