Vicki Lynn Walls

Vicki Lynn Brown Walls, 58, of Columbus, GA passed away Saturday, September 23, 2023, at the Piedmont Columbus Midtown Hospital in Columbus, GA
Vicki was born March 4, 1965, in Columbus, GA, daughter of the late Dan Brown and Betty Lee Limbaugh Brown. She had worked in maintenance preparation support with Rental Properties in Surrounding Chattahoochee Valley area and loved her occupation. She enjoyed working with people. She was a member of the American Legion Post 35 in Columbus, GA. She enjoyed nature, loved animals and was proud to serve with the FDA Rescue for exotic animals. She was a member of New Vision Christian Ministries in Waverly Hall, GA.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in by her late husband, William Nelson Walls, son, James Hammond and brother, Richard Bruce Goodman.
She is survived by dear friend, companion, and former husband, Sidney L. Hammond; son, Dale Thorp, II; sister, Ginny Lee Nash, and husband Rev. Richard Nash; one precious grandchild; longtime friend and employer, Crawford Smith, Jr., several nieces, nephews, extended family, church family and many caring friends, and her beloved pet dog and companion, Daisy.
A private burial will take place at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her late husband, William Nelson Walls.
