Vida Helms Ogletree, 91, of Phenix City, Alabama, Went to her heavenly home Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at Phenix City Health Care in Phenix City, Alabama.

Funeral Services will be held at Summerville Baptist Church, Friday, November 5, 2021, at 10:00 am with Reverend Robb Goodman officiating. The interment will be held at Lakeview Memory Gardens.

Ms. Ogletree was born on January 12, 1930, in Enterprise, Alabama, the daughter of William R Helms and Lois Beane Helms. She retired from Tom’s Foods, after 50 years of service. Vida was Baptist by faith, and a member of Summerville Baptist Church. She loved her family and her church family. She enjoyed traveling and telling jokes with her friends, cooking, and was known for her famous biscuits. Vida will always be remembered as the loving Christian mother and grandmother that she was

She is preceded in death by her father, William R Helms; mother, Lois Helms; and grandson John Michael Ogletree, Jr..

She is survived by son, Michael (Debbie) Ogletree two daughters, Pamela Johnson, and Traci (Jason) Mann; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; as well as several extended family and caring friends.
