Willene Blizzard Cline

Willene Blizzard Cline, 77, of Phenix City, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown in Columbus, Georgia.

The family will receive friends Saturday, April 23, 2022 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Vance Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Rd. Columbus, Ga. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, with Rev. Thomas Harrison, Rev. Brad McDaniel and Rev. Brian McCrory officiating. The interment will follow at Parkhill Cemetery.

Mrs. Cline was born on March 3, 1945, in Columbus, Georgia, the daughter of Paul and Ruth Blizzard. She worked for Johnson Industries as an Inspector for many years. Willene was a member of New Beginnings Fellowship. Willene loved to sing and worship the Lord. She loved children, her family, animals, and ceramics. Willene was an example of a good Christian to her family. Willene’s homegoing will leave a felt absence. To know her was to love her.

She is preceded in death by her father, Paul Blizzard; mother, Ruth Blizzard; and brother, Billy Blizzard, Sr.

She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years Sidney Cline; two sisters, Paula (Thomas) Harrison, and Joyce (Wallace) Owens; as well as several extended family and caring friends.
