William Corey Milner

William Corey Milner, 32, of Columbus, GA passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 in Kennesaw, GA. 

A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 2100 Hilton Ave., Columbus, GA with Pastor Grace Burton-Edwards officiating.  

William was born on August 31, 1986 in Columbus, GA to William and Shelby Milner.  He was a graduate of Columbus Tech and was currently enrolled in Columbus State University.  William was employed with the Muscogee County School District where he worked for 14 years as a Senior Lead IT Tech.  Halloween was his favorite time of the year.  William was a very kind and giving person who loved his family and taking care of his pets.

William is preceded in death by his grandparents, Dorothy and Clyde Stone; grandfather, William Milner, Sr.; and step-grandfather, Tommy Hanchey.

Survivors include his daughter, Alexis Milner; sister, Amy Stone; brother, Jeffery Stone (Angie); grandmother, Carol Hanchey; nieces and nephews, Kaitlyn, Taylor, Bailey, Breanne, Danielle; special friend, Mike Edmondson; his fur babies, Elizabeth, Jack, and Pumpkin; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and his extended family.
