Mr. Stoops was born December 28, 1931 in Fairview, PA son of the late William Stoops and Esther Kepple Stoops. He had retired from the U. S. Army after 20 years of service as a CW3 serving in both the Korean and Vietnam wars. After his service to our Country, Mr. Stoops joined Columbus Technical College as the Auto Mechanics Instructor. He was a gifted mechanic who could fix just about anything. Mr. Stoops still has a 1987 Pontiac Fiero, in near mint condition. Mr. Stoops was also a gifted carpenter with the skill to build virtually anything from wood. He loved to be outside working and improving his home place in the county. His absence in our daily lives will forever change us, but we are forever grateful for all the good memories he has left us.
