Wilton Ralph Havard, Jr., 74, of Phenix City, AL died at his home on Monday, September 08, 2025.
A Service of Remembrance will be held at 11:00 AM (EST) on Friday, September 12, 2025, at Courts of Praise Worship Center, Phenix City, AL according to Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the funeral hour on Friday at the church.
Mr. Havard was born August 02, 1951, in Lucedale, MS son of the late Wilton Ralph Havard, Sr. and Dorothy Gordon Havard Bass. He was a Vietnam War veteran serving in the U. S. Army. After his service to our country, he became a long-haul trucker. Again, serving our country in a different way.
Mr. Ralph was a quite man who loved to be outdoors hunting, fishing, cutting grass or just working with his hands. He was also a family man who showed love in his own special way.
Mr. Havard was preceded in death by his parents, Wilton Havard and Dorothy Bass and two siblings, Denise Cook and Dennis Havard.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Linnie Hampton Havard, Lanett, AL; four daughters, Lisa Wilson (Daniel), Milton, FL, Jamie L. Browder (Jamie T.), Lanett, AL, Debra Landry (Corey) Smiths Station, AL and Sandra Phillips, AL; seven grandchildren, Priscilla, Kristin (Alex), Sarah, Christopher, Shelbee, Bethany and Jake; five precious great-grandchildren, Kailee, Mia, Addison, Hampton and Wade; nieces, nephews and friends.
